I have a job interview on Wednesday and I have a HUGE zit |
|
on my chin! I know it's vain, but this zit is the size of Mt. St. Helen and I'm really self-conscious about it. Normally I would just let nature take its course, but I had it for over a week and it isn't getting any smaller! And, I have an interview for my first REAL job (i.e., uses my future degree) and I want to look 26, not 16. I thought my days of zit-agony were supposed to be over 5 years ago! Does anyone know of a quick fix? All the concealer in the world can't cover up this monstrosity!

1. I'm sorry you didn't get any advice |
|
and I hope the interview went well!
Two things about your post: First, it's a myth that acne ends with the teen years. I had a bad breakout that lasted for months last year and I'm 50! Talk about depressing!
And second, I tried everything I could think of and the only thing that worked was Proactiv -- and it was nothing short of miraculous. I didn't respond before because I knew you couldn't get it in time for the interview, but if this is a recurring problem, I strongly recommend. I don't use it any more because my acne cleared up but if it comes back, I'll be back on it in a New York minute! I do still use the spot treatment now and then and it works really well -- half the time, I forget that I was fixing to break out!
Let us know how the interview went and good luck! :)

I think my interview went okay (I can never tell how these things go). Anyway, I should find out about the job in the next couple of days (hopefully). I think my zit was stress-related--I've just had a lot going on recently (upcoming graduation, finding a job, ending a relationship, etc.). It's been a rough couple of months, but I'm doing better!
