| "Shopsafe" type services somewhere other than BofA? |
|
So we have a credit card account with BoA. And I'd like to close it, but they have one feature that we use a lot: Shopsafe.
This allows us to create a "temporary" credit card with a dollar and date limit of our choice. And it's locked to the first vendor that charges to it.
E.g. really really minimizes the risks of shopping on the web.
I'd love to dump BofA, but would like to find a "decent" Bank that has something similar in terms of safe web shopping.
Any ideas???
Thanks in advance :-)

and have never had this issue.
You could also use cards that you load up yourself...get them at the grocery store or walmart and such.
What I do, however, is once a year or so...call up my credit cards and say I lost my card and need a replacement card with a new number. I do this with my check cards for the bank too.
That way I just get a new number so that it's not floating around so much.
just my 2 cents
