1. The next storm won't be named George

If it develops into a named storm it will be a female name, they alternate these days.
On a more serious note, I don't think we've ever had 6 named storms by July 21. Last year, one of the most active in recent history, Charley (sp) hit on Friday, August 13th.

Edit - just checked, the next storm will be Gert. Then it's Harvey, Irene and Jose.
