Frost warning tonight, we had a hard freeze a few nights ago. The cool weather is too late to save my crop, it already went dormant with the heat earlier. Just remember, late freezes kill off some of the bugs like chiggers and ticks. There IS a positive side I suppose.

and "bed down" all of the tenders we had already planted- tomatoes, peppers, squash. They seem to have managed fine but I'm worried that their growth may be stunted.
On the other hand my lettuce, spinach and cilantro are loving the cool temps.
