Hello all!
Well, finally got my results back from FTNDA for my FGS of mtDNA. Seems I have a heteroplasmy at 15245G/A.
I understand the definition of what this means, but can't really find anything on the web (other than very techno-jargon) if it 'means' anything. There are references to aging and disease.
Well I have no diseases that I know of... and yes, I'm aging, but just passed the half-century mark, NOT THAT old! <smile>
Anybody up on heteroplasmy?
