Even though I didn't like the thumbnail, I have access to non-indexed copies of the census. This gave me enough information to go find it at my leisure elsewhere. Thanks!
Do you use the service? How good is it?

| 2. I've found some useful confederate records |

I took a day class on using the site and found it interesting that they allow users to annotate records -- if you find a name you highlight it and add it to the index. You can also upload your own documents for others to use. I've subscribed for a single month here and there -- when I find something in the index and I want to download the document -- but last month they sucked me into the year's subscription saying there will be a price increase. Now I just have to find time to use it.
