| Anybody here close to Garrett or Allegany County, MD? |
|
Or know anybody who is?
I'd be willing to PAY someone (who takes their genealogy seriously and wouldn't blow it off) gas, photo developing costs, and snacks to check out a cemetery for me, and possibly check out this lady/her husband at the archives in Annapolis.
I have info about her family, and I think I've found her husband's death there in 1928 (waiting on the death cert from the Archives in the mail right now), but I've checked all over the MD Archives Website, and I can't find anything for her death. This KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT. It's how obsessed I am with finding this woman. She's the only one of my Ggrandfather's brothers and sisters I don't have a death date for. It's making me crazy.
I have a feeling she and her husband (Mary Elizabeth and Isaac Baldwin) may be buried at Grantsville Cemetery in Garrett County, Maryland with her daughter Lillian's family, but I'm too far away, and I haven't been able to find anyone at RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) to help me. If they are there (hopefully his death cert will have where he was buried), her stone should theoretically have her death year, and I would have a better clue.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? FSC

lives in Grantsville. I can ask her to check it out. Or I'll be there myself in August or September. I only live about 2 and half hours away, so I go once every month or so.
PM and let me know what works for you.
