Everyone has pinned their hopes and dreams for this country on him.
His record has shown us nothing to be excited or hopeful for...yet it is waved like a banner at parade.
His speech on race was given when it was the most self-serving to him...yet where was his voice when victims of Katrina were drowning in the streets? Why didn't he speak against race then?
Obama is a sleekly packaged media aberration deliberately designed to be the Pied Piper.
Our country is in a downward spiral. This isn't going to magically stop the on January 20, 2009.
We ARE going to hit bottom and it is going to be ugly.
Obama will be the one left holding the bag when the tilt-a-whirl stops.
All the nice speeches in the world aren't going to absorb the shock we are all going to feel when it does.

1. I have always felt that who ever is to be the next President would be a one term President.

There is just sooo much fixing to be done. I can't imagine the economy suddenly improving, the war, health care, etc. It will be worse for Obama because he is a neophyte and it will take him much longer to get his sea legs.

And yeah, too many hopes are pinned on him. The higher they go up, the faster and further they fall.
