'There is just one man' is playing over and over again on CNN this morning. |
|
Edwards and his misogyny code speak? This is truly pathetic.
Misogyny has been so widespread throughout history and across cultures, I guess I had hoped Edwards was above this - - even though I've long-realized CNN and MSNBC are not.
I guess Edwards sure fooled me.
And so his pomp that 'There is just one man' is on the loop playing over and over ad nauseum to remind me just how far back these 'men' and their 'enabling women' have managed to set post-feminist women right back into a new era that needs a new feminist movement.

1. No, to hell with how CNN |
|
may have interpreted it.
I vewed it as having been worded very deliberately... there being "only one man" allows for the likelihood that there may be a woman (or several) who could do the same.
Notice, Edwards said more nice things about Hillary than he did about Barack. I didn't hear any praise of the latter's personal or political qualities in JRE's speech.
