I'm going to our state convention as an alternate |
|
It is my first time. I am pretty excited. I am taking my daughter who is eleven. I wasn't planning to go because I am only an alternate, but I hear that people often don't show for various reasons, so off we go.

It was a bit sad. The Obama supporters were there in droves and we actually lost a vote because an alternate did not show to be upgraded. On the other hand, it was wonderful to cast that ballot for Hillary. I took my daughter who is 11. It was history in the making and we were proud to be a part of it. Go Hillary!

a few people were rude in a way that surprised me. We are all Democrats after all, aren't we?
