so NOW they're all impressed. |
|
f*ck.
They were blinded by their own "go. go. my team. rah rah rah" and refused to even look, hear, consider anything positive about her.
Now that they finally can recognize how wonderful and powerful and charismatic she is - it's too f'ing late.
(I will conceded there is a very good point being made - she, like Kerry, would have been MUCH better off speaking from the heart and being herself rather than listening to the GD STRAGETIZERS. They f'ing suck.

1. It's amazing at the 180 turnaround the Obamatons have had |
|
in the last day or so. I really regret I have to vote for Barry myself. But then the alternatives are worse.

2. she got better as the campaign went on. Penn was bad for her but note |
|
she really enjoyed interacting and talking WITH the people--not TO them in huge rock style crowds.
Thanks for your support of Hillary on DU.
I have found another board -where there is not so much hate.
unfortuately things may change for a while but to much has gone on here for me to feel at home.
best to you.

4. Well, if you are going to be that way. I really wasn't that impressed. |

I was being kind. So much for trying to heal some wounds. Stay mad for all I care. She tried her hardest, but she lost.

I supported both candidates. I think Hillary has much more experience and maturity, but I'm all for an African American in the WhiteHouse.
I think it was SOME of the "Obamasupporters" on DU (or the trolls here stirring up trouble) who were being so completely disrepectful and hatefilled toward her as a candidate. And then it got to be "popular" to be a Hillary-Basher . . .
Well, I think this country lost the opportunity for an extremely good and competent President who has the background, experience, and knowledge to really turn things around. I wish Barack MORE than all the best. I hope he is the best President this Country has ever seen!!

5. There's no contradiction in being impressed with a concession speech |
|
But not feeling you could vote for that person. Look, we know you're sad, but could you please accept that we were sincere in saying the speech was good? We're not the enemy. Honest.

but some people were sooooo vile in their expressed hatred. Why couldn't it be more about why one supports THEIR candidate instead of what they HATE about the "other candidate?!? (except pubs, of course. ;) )
This is something I've said since the beginning and I will continue to say and I will always say. I never put Barack Obama down. (Though I think some of his so-called "supporters" sucked mightily!) I think he's wonderful and I am so excited about having an African American who will probably President! What a wonderful thing for this Country and it's future.
