I voted absentee yesterday from Holland for Obama-Biden. |

Up to the last minute I was tortured with feelings of not wanting to vote for EITHER candidate, but strongly feel the need to vote, so I marked my cross for Obama-Biden.
I hope they don't terrible disappoint us all.
And I agree with something Deep13 said in another thread: I'm not going to take out my anger at the way the party treated Hillary on the whole country.
Living outside of the US with an overwhelming number of Europeans preferring Obama to McCain, not to mention the rest of the world, I feel I had to take a much larger view of it all and also not take my anger at the way the party has dealt with a LOT of campaign issues out on the whole country, the whole WORLD!
Don't imagine that I ever will be a great fan of Obama's, but I am a Democrat through and through.
So now I can relax about voting and wait and see what happens.

I agree. And I'm still sad Hillary wasn't the nominee.
