That story in the NYT about McCain....does anybody else think the timing was weird?
I mean, they could have posted that story anytime over the last year, but they didn't.

They posted it the day after Obama got his 10th straight win.
McCain's little indiscretion became the big story of the day, and moved Mr. Obama down in the news.

I don't know if it was coincidence or not - but I'd like to think that is was not.

The NYT was waiting for a source to go on the record about the sex part,
and another news outlet (NRO?) forced them to publish early.
