Fabulous Showing for Hillary in Cincinnati! |
|
Edited on Sat Feb-23-08 04:09 PM by susankh4
Standing room only at Cincinnati State. Over 2000 people.
Very organized and many, many people have signed up for working at the call center or canvassing this coming week.
David Pepper (County Commissioner) and Ted Strickland (Gov) introduced and endorsed Hillary. They said she is ahead in Ohio... and even has a lead over Obama in the race with McCain. In the audience we many prominant Ohio and Cincy politicians.
The AFSCME and AFT were visibly presnt. ANA was there but did not have signs identifying themselves.
The crowd was very excited and supportive! I'll be uploading a few pics and vids as soon as I can.
:dem: Woohoo!

Go Hillary! I can feel your momentum. Barack's stumbling bumbling debate answers are showing his ineptness to lead.

5. We had a great showing in Dayton too! |
|
I'll post pictures when I get them online. Ted Strickland was there as was former Congressman/Ambassador Tony Hall. My friend, Judy Dodge got to do the introduction!
Mai Coleman, from American idol; she sang the National Anthem. Great voice!
We were packed! Shoulder-to-shoulder!
How about the Cincinnati visit?

In a space that was set for 1500 or so. So, we were standing shoulder to shoulder.
Lots of union folk. Lots of nurses. Lots of women, all ages, and orientations.
Inspiring!
