I head out tomorrow for Virginia Beach to see a friend whose mother just died. I won't be back until the night of the 29th.

my friend put her life on hold and nursed her mother through 3 YEARS of cancer. She's a very strong woman but she needs an old friend right now and although I dread the drive because the traffic at VA Beach has gotten as bad the Metro DC area, I want to be there for her.

Now, what to pack besides everything I could possibly have use of?
