| Why Rush wants Hillary Clinton to be our nominee. |
|
This crap about who is "more electable" is just that, crap. He knows it. He's quite happy we are going to win for a few reasons. He's become IRRELEVANT, and it pisses him off mightily. He campaigned so hard to defeat McCain and nobody listened, nobody cared. He still has tons of listeners, but sometimes now - they dare to question him. They dare to vote as they see fit.
Since he knows that the Dems are unstoppable this go around the only question left for him is pretty much the same question I'm pretty sure he's asked himself for many years now. What is best for Rush? It's not that it's harder for him to rail against a black man, he doesn't have those kind of moral considerations. His best reason for picking Clinton is that it's soothing and familiar to him. He can work a little less and recycle a little more. He's lazy. The Clintons gave him the best years of his life and he wants them back, much like the rest of America.

| 4. If McCain actually won, what would he have to do? Bush is a hard core conservative |
|
so Rush spent his days railing against the evil America-hating Democrats that were standing in Bush's way and kept him from achieving true, American perfection.
With McCain in the Whitehouse, Rush's show totally loses focus.

| 5. Delusions of being a kingmaker. "It's all about me, me, me." |
|
More seriously, I think he's positioned himself to have an enemy, an antagonist in the White House, no matter which of the remaining 3 become president. Then, he's able to say, "I told you people......." yada, yada.
