How beneficial to Hillary is Edwards endorsement |
|
I'm happy the endorsement went to Hillary but wonder how much it will help now against the BO attacks. Or, will the exEdwards' now known officially as Obamites leave and come over to Hillary's side.

6. Do you think it's likely though? I do. I think Wright changed everything. |

John Edwards is a patriot.

8. Truthfully I seriously doubt he will endorse Hillary. |

I doubt he will endorse anyone.
And if he does he really waited too long for it to have much impact, IMO.

5. I'm on hold with this one. Too many twists and turns. |
|
But it would seem to be a positive in terms of momentum. And to have Elizabeth endorse would really spark things up IMO.

7. So far, it's just a rumor |
|
Some pundit on Tweety's show said something about it, but no backup.

9. Timing is everything. Between now and PA is a long time, if Edwards |
|
gets behind Hillary it will give her more momentum and lift her above the Obama camp. I think it's huge.

10. I don't see how a future endorsement by JE will have much bearing on either candidate |
|
in all honesty. I'm not trying to marginalize the significance of John Edwards, but at this point in time, I don't think his endorsement is going to make too much of a difference, other than giving bragging rights to the supporters of whomever he picks.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I really don't think there are many voters out there who are sitting around waiting for Edwards to endorse someone before they make up their mind on who they're gonna go with. Is John Edwards' influence going to be anywhere near the same in the real world as it is on DU?
Having said that, if someone is going to endorse, they should have done it by now or not endorse at all, IMO. Afterall, shouldn't these potential endorsers know by now who they prefer?
