One of the first poems I wrote, way back

[Longgrain]

when I was fourteen. Inspired by Robert Frost...

The Valley Low

I gazed into the valley low
and wondered how it feels to go
where birds sing gaily in the trees,
the feeling I will never know.

Oh how I long to feel the ease
of the cool but gentle breeze,
instead I try to ponder out
the answer to these mysteries.

I often feel the need to shout
because I have to live without
what other people have; but doubt,
I will ever cease to pout.

I threw away all of the poems I wrote when I was young<sigh>

6. Actually, I did too, I had an entire note books of poems at one time

But I think I ended up throwing it out. Since I had this one memorized; it's the only one that survived.
