| One of the first poems I wrote, way back |
|
when I was fourteen. Inspired by Robert Frost...
The Valley Low
I gazed into the valley low and wondered how it feels to go where birds sing gaily in the trees, the feeling I will never know.
Oh how I long to feel the ease of the cool but gentle breeze, instead I try to ponder out the answer to these mysteries.
I often feel the need to shout because I have to live without what other people have; but doubt, I will ever cease to pout.
So what do you think?

| 6. Actually, I did too, I had an entire note books of poems at one time |
|
But I think I ended up throwing it out. Since I had this one memorized; it's the only one that survived.

| 4. You wrote better poems at 14 |
|
than I wrote at 30. Good work.

I don't write a lot of poetry, since most of you know me mainly as a painter but I might have a few more to put up. :hi:

| 7. I enjoyed this poem... and it does remind me |
|
of Robert Frost.
I have enjoyed your paintings, and I hope that you post more poetry, as well!
Welcome! :hi:
