i love poetry...but why no writer's forum?

hmmmmmmm...

i used to have lots of poetry...but it burned up in a fire...

1. it had

a curious symetry
like a well inflated tire

3. in passing it reflected

young love lost and minor causes

[cleofus1]

4. a mirror in a room

reflecting corporate losses...

[cleofus1]

5. she walks in grace

ebony flag waving free

[cleofus1]

7. like a prirate flag on the horizon

fairy tale doll in a case

[cleofus1]

8. my heart stolen

it seems without a trace....

11. asphalt black dancing

white line winking
with the window rolled down
neon lights tapping of my brow
i float falling backwards into amber

9. I'm sorry....

at first i didn't understand your post...the fire is a metaphor for hard times in my life...not a real fire...more like possessions lost thru life's misadventures...thank you for the sentiment...

And there is a writer's group on DU, which appears to get a decent amount of traffic, but people post original poems here, as well.:-)
