A Vicious Cycle
Awake to the nightmare
A vicious cycle
Forever haunted by guilt

The night wears on while I wait it out
When I sleep I can hear him call for help
I try but I can’t save him the pain is too great
My punishment for living is my hell on Earth
I’m not strong enough to make it end

Going through the day in a trance
Only breathing without feeling
My soul locked away forever
My heart in jagged pieces
To cut anyone that dare get close

Awake to the nightmare
A vicious cycle
Forever haunted by guilt
