| Wanna share some of the health improvements since it's been 20 days sober. |
|
I am seeing a medical doctor and a dietician.
The day I quit, my liver panel looked like a black out bingo card.
I was severely anemic and had almost no vitamin C, D or A in my body.
Basically I was malnurished. The dietcian put me on a unique diet of high protein (lots of organ meat, like beef liver and chicken livers) and a very high complex carb diet. Which I am sticking to religiously.
I just saw the doc today for more blood work.
The anemia is gone. My liver panel is looking much better (I'm detoxing with a lot of water)
I've got vitamins and minerals back in my body.
And I can't tell you how much better I feel!
This is the one thing addicts don't think about it, because we don't eat... what this is doing to our whole body not just our liver.
I just wanted to share that news with you guys, that my health is improving.

One of the ongoing benefits of sobriety is our health improves, and it continues to improve.
One of the first things I noticed was that I able to get a good nights sleep.
Passing out does not qualify as sleep!
