22. Congratulations! Sounds daunting, though...

Remember when you had around four months? That's where I am. Thanks for being an example. I love the Lounge; it's witty and never fails to crack me up, but the occassional booze & weed references get me a little squirrely sometimes. It's great there's this forum to which one can retreat and regather when that happens. Also reassuring to see there are so many recovering liberals out there! At many of the meetings I attend I sometimes feel like the only one and am tempted to identify out for that reason. My beast is alive and well and will seize any rationalization - political ones included - for picking back up. Thanks for being here!

4 months is great! Congrats back at you!

I was kind of nuts at 4 months and still a bit nuts at 4 years, but I kept at it one day at a time until the miracled happened, as they say.

Hang in there, and remember that recovery has a primary purpose, and politics, religion, etc. are outside issues. Stick to your guns and you'll do fine.

Don't pick up, no matter what...
