most large cities have AAers that answer the phones 24/7 and here's something to read to get you started http://www.aa.org/bigbookonline/en_BigBook_chapt2.pdf

9. You will NOT be bothering them! |

They want to hear from you. Really.
I'd infinitely rather have someone call me at three a.m. before they take a drink than see them sick, weepy and regretful the next day. So would the people who man (woman?) those phone lines. We've all been there, during our darkest nights, and it's part of our own recovery to help others.
So call. And in the meantime, here's a cyber-hug.

7. Here's the directory of meetings in Maryland. |
|
When starting out, it's a good idea to get to 90 meetings in 90 days...to just immerse yourself in the program, and commit to it. Good luck!!

8. Seems like you just took the first step. |

That's the most important part, and the hardest thing for any of us to do. :pals: The next thing is to find some way into recovery, whether it's AA, NA, or something else. It seems that others here are already pointing you in the right direction - please check back in with us.

10. Sorry, I just saw this! |
|
You will not be bothering anyone, no matter when you call. They are there at the hotlines because they want to help.
I get nothing from my recovery unless I actively pass it on.
We are here for you, Elshiva!

11. I'm late out of the gate---Welcome! |
|
You've gotten the best advice already, Elshiva.
All I can add is don't worry about calling the hotlines at night. That's what they are there for. I would guess most of the calls come in the middle of the night.
Welcome to recovery. ;-)
Stay close and please let us know how you are doing.
