Back story: The girl scouts in our council have an International Day, which is scheduled for this coming Saturday. The troop of Brownies that I co-lead is doing Turkey. One of the moms in our troop is a Turkish national and she sent us all a recipe for a cake that calls for 2 teaspoons of brandy. We need to make enough cake for up to 500 tiny bite sized servings.

I just found out today that one of this mom's friends is going to make all the cakes needed, and we are going to be making a beef and rice dish.
