I’m going to try to stay in the moment more. So many times I’m doing something and thinking about what I’m going to do next. What I’m going to do when I get home. And so on.
Any suggestions as to how one does this?

| 1. it takes lots of discipline and practice |
|
but it's well worthwhile cuz fear lives in the future
I put a rubber band around my wrist to remind me several times a day, maybe that will help?

" fear lives in the future"
I hadn't heard that, but I'll remember it.

| 3. another technique I used to use was to apologize |
|
say I had a big thing coming up, any kind of thing. getting a house, a job, going on a trip whatever and once I did the steps and "turned it over" if I found myself "taking it back" I'd apologize to my HP and turn it back over
it would start out being several times an hour  this alkie is stubborn ya know
but eventually I'd get tired of apologizing twenty times a day and pretty soon I could stay in the present with out flying out to the future every 10 minutes
