what a bunch of 'losers' you all are! |
|
In the BESTEST sense of the word
I've been reading the threads lately and noting how WELL you're all doing. Isn't it fantastic? Even a one pound loss over a few days is amazing.
It's hard work folks and you're all to be congratulated on taking your lives back under control.
I hope you're feeling great and enjoying this forum! It does get awfully quiet some days but hey, we all have busy lives I guess.
Not much to report on my end, I'm still losing although not quite as quickly as in the start. Dr says another 20 pounds to go (at most). Having trouble getting in enough protein some days and so he's put me on creon, an enzyme to help me absorb it. Darned swelling feet and ankles anyway :)
ain't life grand?

1. Wow, just 20 more pounds! That's great! |

It's been slow for me but WW is so painless that I'm not complaining. When I gained .2 pound one week, I was discouraged until I thought, "What am I going to do, quit?" I mean, I don't feel deprived. I've never really been hungry. All I do is keep track of what I'm eating. Big deal! So I just kept at it and the next week, it was about two pounds. Little by little, it will all add up and meanwhile, I'm getting used to not eating too much and exercising nearly every day.
That's what is most important to me -- I lost 70 pounds in about eight months in 2003 on a fasting diet. It was great fun to lose so quickly but it was NOT fun to see 50 pounds of it creep back on with basically normal eating. This time, I'd rather lose slowly and keep it off!
Thanks for the encouragement and keep up the good work! :hi:
