too rainy to go out walking today (same as yesterday) ... |

i have to figure out a way to do some exercises before the day is out...by the time the sun comes out later today, (if it does) it will be too hot to go walking.

Leslie Sansone - Walk Away the Pounds (DVD)(Get Up and Get Started 1 Mile / High Calorie Burn 2 Miles) Is a pretty good workout to do in the living room. No need to go out at all. It's only 9.99 on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000062XEI/qid=1152290597/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-3274187-6834361?s=dvd&v=glance&n=130Might be worth a try. aA

3. Get some walking sandals or shoes that are... |
|
waterproof. I like Keen and Merrell. I call them my "no excuses" shoes. I have walked distances for months in 0 degree weather, snow, rain, sun, anything (I did skip a blizzard day). If it's flooding where you are, buy flippers (or watershoes). Seriously, Keen makes great, machine-washable hiking sandals that are very comfortable and wear well. Merrell makes several water-friendly walking shoes. OnlineShoes or Zappos will supply if those brands are not in your neighborhood.
