I've lost a total of 115 pounds since this time last year.............. |

I went to a local Dr. and she specializes in weight management & solutions. My blood sugars and everything else were out of wack after some initial counseling I went on Opti-Fast System. I had times where weeks went and nothing came off and then I discovered it was sugar that prevented some loss. I now am on a modified program but the entire basic concept is to eat 6 small meals of say 200 calories each. Strange as it sounds you need to eat to lose weight, the small meals keep the metabolism up and running. Eat like a diabetic and you will lose weight. My sugar levels are now in the 80's I've gone to the lowest BP meds now and my BP is 100/69, I don't have reflux any more, and a whole host of problems left after about the first 30lbs. I try to walk at least 5 miles daily on the treadmill and on some days I've worked my way up to 8.4 miles. I am in better shape now at 52 than I was at 22.

115 lbs gone is amazing isn't it? Your story is an inspiration for those trying hard to lose anywhere from 5- 200lbs! It's not easy and some days it's almost impossible but YOU did it!
You DO need to eat to lose and importantly you need to eat to keep the weight off.
