3 Weeks into the new year ... How's it going folks? |
|
I keep checking back to see how you all are doing. I hope each and everyone of you is well and on the way to the goals you desire.
Me, I'm doing alright. Maintaining my weight, not doing so well with the supplements. I really really need to stay on track with those lest I end up malnourished etc.
Check in won't you? You all are always in my thoughts.

I'm down about 4 lbs since Thanksgiving. That's really good considering the holidays and a two week vacation over Christmas. I wasn't that strident in watching what I eat at all. Anyway, I'm back on track now and should hit that 50 lb mark by the end of the month. It's hard. I'm a slow loser due to the thyroid and can't do alot of exercising due to the hip and back issues. I'm mostly limited to gentle stretching and Sit and Be Fit kind of routines.
When I started this last April I had hoped to be down about 60 lbs by now but I'm cool with where I am. Slow and steady will win this battle for me. I wish I wasn't still plagued with those "hungry" days. Even though I know it's mostly emotional for me it's still a huge struggle.
I'm focusing this month in bulking up what I eat. I've been adding shredded cabbage to most of my dinners and going more for the oatmeal in the morning. I'm just conditioned to eating more in the winter I guess. The Shiritaki noodles have been a God Send--and at 40 calories a bag add substance to what ever I'm eating when I really need it.
I hope everyone is hanging in and doing what they can to improve their health.

Been about the same weight wise as what I wrote in my post.
However, I do belong to C&B group and they are currently fascinated with a bread recipe. So, yep, I had to try it.
*sigh*
Now struggling with fatigue and moodiness, the original reasons I stopped eating bread. So, I've been off the exercise wagon this week. :eyes:
Will get the bread baking out of my system and get back on track.

I've been so tempted to try that damn recipe...(For the SO of course). So far I've resisted but I've felt the weakness.

You're better than me for hiding those threads. :-)

I just had a weigh-in, and found out that I gained 3lbs over Christmas. I suppose it could have been worse. I haven't been adhering to my eating plan at all, so really my 3lbs isn't that bad, considering ALL I had to eat over Christmas!
Thankfully, Mr. ld has finally gotten my treadmill working. I just have to motivate myself enough to get on the blessed thing!
