I believe the modern diet with all it's refined and processed foods-in-a-box is causing the obesity problem in this country and probably a whole host of other problems.

I've been reading about a "plant-based diet," the
macrobiotic diet,
and trying now to learn about the kind of foods eaten in Asia and China. Inspired by "The China Study," cited in Caldwell B Esselstyn, Jr., M.D. 's book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. Subtitled The Revolutionary, Scientifically Proven, Nutrition-Based Cure. ('cure' is in italics.
