OK... I'm coming back here to get back on track |
|
I had WLS last September, and I've lost 90 lbs, but I want to lose 30 more.
I've strayed from the WLS rules and because of that my weight loss these days is slim to none. I need to get back on track.
So... starting Monday:
- 3 meals and 3 snacks - No drinking w/i 30 minutes of eating - Protein first (80-100g/day) - 8 glasses of water/day - avoid sugar (unfortunately, I'm one of the few people who can still tolerate sugar after RNY) - no food after 8 p.m.
My surgery takes care of the portion size, so I won't fret abotu that.
I'm already at the gym 5 days/week, so I'm going to stick w/ that.
It's time to finish what I've started.

It's very hard to stick to a set diet without straying once in a while. Maybe you just needed a break.

Even if it's only a pound a week, you can get that 30 off easily enough just by staying active. Get out and enjoy yourself as much as you can. And be sure to keep us posted on how you're doing! :toast:

I'm so happy for you that you don't have the sugar issue that most have with the rny! I get frustrated some days and cannot seem to get enough protein in. I LOVE the revival soy protein shakes. I make smoothies and they are an easy 20grams of protein. I use the vanilla flavoured, that way I can add frozen fruit to jazz them up. They taste SO much better than the whey protein shakes I've tried.
Lots and lots of water MissMillie, you'll be amazed at how it will come off for you.
