Day 3
Yesterday went very well. I stuck to plan for lunch, had some popcorn for a snack (I know I should be concentrating on protein, but I'm addicted to popcorn) and have been watching my portions.

For dinner I had some leftover chicken parm, and avoided the pasta.

Today, I've had 2 eggs on a piece of toast.. and a lot of diet lemonade.

I'm thinking of having 1/2 a sandwich for lunch, and a yogurt.

I've got to stick w/ leftovers for dinner... there is a lot of food that will have to be thrown out if we don't eat it. I'll probably have soup... or some of that shrimp and pasta I made a few nights ago.

3. I'm SO pleased that you are back on track!!
you'll feel SO much better in the long run. Get those proteins in!

Shrimp is wonderful isn't it? I get so tired of trying to think of things to make. It's an uphill battle. Turkey has been my favourite lately, I think my husband is getting turkey'd out though heh.

4. Very good!
If you are eating air-popped popcorn, without butter or salt, you don't have to sweat it at all. If you are adding butter and salt, then be sure to keep it to just enough of each to taste them, and no more. Otherwise, it sounds like you have done a great job today. Certainly better than I did. :)

I had a couple of sandwiches at work, which wasn't that bad in and of itself, but then I overdid it when I came home and finished a pretty large portion of leftover pasta with zucchini and then Jeanette made herself a turkey burger so I had to try one of those too. Even worse, I found some Hershey's Hugs and ended up eating a good 20 or so of them throughout the day, and I rarely eat candy. I felt bloated and in a really crabby mood by the time it was all over. So, I've made up my mind that tomorrow will be much better. I will get my ride in, and I will keep my appetite sated mostly with fat-free refried beans and brown rice with salsa and jalapeno rings. Filling, balanced and low in calories. The candy is all gone now so I can't make that mistake again, thank goodness. :)

Keep up the good work, and it will get easier and easier to keep your portions down where they belong. I'm very happy for you. :D
