Admittedly, I was going by the CF - cheekbone factor (we have a sighting!!!) I went to my sister's to weigh myself, and my jaw dropped!! YAY!! :7

How long did this take, exactly? Remember that by taking off the weight at a slow to moderate pace you increase your chances of keeping it off dramatically. It sounds like you're doing all the right things, and the happy mood you're in knowing how much you've accomplished is going to help bunches, too.

I started recording at fitday at the beginning of July. I thought I was losing 1 lb a week, but it looks like I've been losing 2 - or maybe 1.73. :D
I remember recording at the beginning of July, after a move. I had left a long term live-in relationship at the end of June, and decided to try to lose weight right after.

...losing in the neighborhood of 2 pounds a week is all you really want to do. The larger you are, the faster you can lose but there is still a theoretical limit beyond which you can throw your body into shock no matter what size you are. You keep that up and you'll not only get to where you want to be, but you will find it much easier to stay there. :D

Yes, I don't want to lose more than 2 lbs a week - in fact, I was aiming for 1.
I'm in this for the long haul...no 5 lbs per week business. :-)
