Anyone have any experience with this? I'm going to spend more time looking into it later but I've been on my butt all morning and it's time to get moving! But since I'm hesitant to add a meeting to my schedule, I thought this might work for me. What do y'all think? Thanks!

1. I don't know if my answer will necessarily give you any pertinent |

information... I did join Weight Watchers on-line about 3 years ago. I mainly joined to be able to get access to their current program, without having to go pay an initial membership fee, in addition to a weekly fee. On-line is MUCH more cost effective, if that is an issue. There are forums and information, and recipes available on their website. The problem wasn't them, it was me. I'm sure, if one was motivated, the on-line Weight Watchers is excellent. I failed miserably, as I didn't do anything they suggested! That's a sure sign of failure! I kept up my membership for about 6 months, but eventually let it go. They just charged my credit card about $14/month, each month.
I think you would have far more success, especially since you used to be a WW leader, and are so familiar with their programs, etc. Their website is set up so that you can 'participate' as much as you want, or have time to participate. If you were thinking that adding meetings might be too much right now, on-line might be the way to go!

3. Great information! Thanks! |
|
I really think I could do this online. If you knew how many weight loss books I've read -- I'm not lacking information as much as inspiration, and since I practically live online anyway, I think it would be helpful.
There are enough WW members here in this group, maybe we can have our own virtual meeting! :D

5. I can imagine how many you have and have read... |
|
if you're anything like me!! I have a library full of diet books. I, like you, know what to do, its the 'implementing' part where I get stuck. Yep, long-lasting inspiration is where I get stuck. I always have lots of inspiration initially, but the first bump in the road-- I fall off the wagon!
Discipline is severely lacking in my diet. However, I react badly to too much structure. Maybe I'm hopeless; I'd like to not think so, that there is still something in me that can get me thru this, and onto a better, healthier life. That's why I'm so excited about this new forum you started!

2. I use the online points tracker, which I love.... |
|
It makes it soooo easy to track points. I'm not one for actually writing things with paper, though I could type on a keyboard all day. I have a hard time getting to meetings, myself, so I think I have actually missed more than I have gone. I was hoping some people here would be up for being my support. :)

4. When I was a member years ago -- |
|
long before anyone knew what "online" meant! -- I used to track my "exchanges" by keeping the form on the frig. My laptop is always nearby so I think an online tracker would be great! In fact, I think I'll return the electronic calorie calculator I just got this week and spend the money on WW instead.
