The point of the sarcasm was: "Don't pay attention to oppressive misogyny and religious police in Saudi Arabia. We had a college kid tased right here!" Puh-leeze. Andrew Meyer is enjoying freedom, notoriety, a new job with Greg Palast. He gets to wear the clothing of his choice and to go wherever he wants. There is a big difference between him and those young women, in terms of their life experience, so the poster's comparison is absurd.
