1. Poor thing. I can't imagine how terrified she was.
What an awful experience, to find one's batterer proposing on national tv and have to say no. Poor thing. :(

2. Utterly disgraceful.
Since it happened in Spain, the shock is unlikely to reach here :-( but I hope there is some serious soul-searching in the broadcasting industry as a result.
