Here is a piece of trivia with which I astounded a friend as a display of my grasp of the obvious, as well as my love of irony and paradox:
Are you aware the a Spanish street-slang for testicles "balls," i.e. masculinity, guts, virility, (c)hutzpah, is, wait for it..........huevos? Yes, that is correct. The word some Hispanic males use to talk about their machismo, virility, etc. is eggs. Apparently the paradox of equating masculity with female biology flies under their radar.
The fact that huevos is a "masculine" noun is a whole 'nother topic.
I would say, many women I know have huevos. Huevas?
