3. From what I understand

There are people who think feminism isn't necessary anymore, much less silly little things like the ERA. Incidentally (I know I've posted this before) one of the reasons the ERA never passed is because the asswipes who were also politically savvy understood it would quite possibly open doors for Gay marriage and Gay rights. I used to have an awesome article on that, but I don't know where it is now.
