5. I'm trying to hope for the best. I'm actually not as pessimistic about

all of this (O'Conner, the potential threat to that "implied" right to privacy within the fourth and sixth amendments--speaking of twisted anti-privacy nuts' "logic") as some. I could post more about why...but not yet.

I mean, yeah, it's going to get a little hairy around here, and it looked pretty bad this morning...well, the worst I've seen it since just after the inauguration, which was when I saw the most anti-choice insanity being allowed to remain abusively on the boards. But perhaps some nasty folks have bought a clue, and realized they're NOT welcome here. Or maybe my not-totally-cratered PMA (which is really just a lack of shock that this actually occurred, really) is clouding my judgment. Hey, don't worry, the mods are on it! Look at those threads about thongs that got locked in the Lounge awhile ago. And I had some damn great contributions to make about thongs there.
