99.99% media-sponsored myth. I know what the anti-feminist crowd uses the idea for euphamistically, and yes, I know of the decade-and-a-half in which it was actually fashionable (imagine!) to not wear that item of clothing--okay, I confess, not wearing a bra makes me uncomfortable (physically, not emotionally, I'm just built that way)--but isn't the idea that anyone ever actually like, burned bras, en mass, basically totally made up? An urban legend or something?

2. Okay, thanks Heddi. It took me a second to "get" that.

Republican humor clocks and--I thought that was an actual American feminist's attack on what he or she perceives as the inherently misogynist nature of life in a country with many practitioners of Islam. Oh! did you see the funny shirt that said "Celebrate Diversity" and it had all these different guns on it? Oh ho ho. Clever, this one. See, usually when Liberals talk about Diversity, it's meaning "people" and religion and stuff like that. But he went and turned it on it's head and made it about GUNS. Bwa-ha-ha. That is *SO* clever.
