I'm a birthmother, I've had to have an abortion at 20 weeks, and I was a single parent. The worst thing I ever went through was giving my son up for adoption. 27 years later, and I still grieve over it.

The tactics the OP was using are very like all those adoption ads you see. "We'll pay your medical and living expenses if you give us your baby." That type of financial, emotional and mental coercion just infuriates me.

What is appalling is that obviously this woman is in a serious situation. she does not want a pregnancy to go to term.

All of the OP supporters say "Let her fall on her ass' don't realize that it's not just HER falling on her ass---it's her fucking CHILD that will be falling too.

I suppose they see no hypocracy in condeming someone for not having the responsibility to get a job, save money, use contraception, etc BUT THEN advocate this (according to them) obviously unbalanced woman having a child.

Another thing that bothered me is that the OP admits that he and his family have completely enabled this young woman throughout her life, allowing her to live rent free, eat for free, get money without having to work---that was okay to do for years and years.

But NOW that she's in a terrible situation, NOW suddenly is the time to 'teach responsibility'???? Um, if you were SOOOOO worried about her having responsibility, shouldn't that have been a lesson taught YEARS ago, instead of now?

And I notice how the OP obsolves himself and his family for ANY responsibility of the situation. True, he didn't impregnate her, but he enabled her for years.
