Research question: the treatment of women as a cultural measure |
|
Hey -- In late 2001, I read an article in L.A. Weekly that reviewed a study. The study showed that the way a culture treats women (re violence, if I remember correctly) is an indicator of that culture's propensity to war and quality of life.
I can't find it via that newspaper, or haven't yet.
Anyone here familiar with this idea? I need to source it and make sure to attribute it!
best, B.

I printed it. This is the stuff the feminist forum should focus on IMO. I'm surprised this did not get as many responses as the 'bitch' problem and how many people we can put on ignore if we catch them using the 'word'.
