1. I saw that.

I was rather disappointed. But I'm 47, and things seem to be going backwards, rather than forwards, in our society. I never thought that I would see the day. When I fought certain battles in the 70's, most while I was in high school, I thought we were moving forward into an equalitarian utopia, never to return to what we had been. I was SO naive.

Poof, thread was gone. No discussion, no nothing. Yep, everywhere there is regression for us, even here. And it's such a minor thing to ask for, but I guess it's just too much to expect. Do you think anybody can see the corollary between the official policy at DU and the official policy of the...oh, never mind.

3. When I posted...somone (not a mod)...

had the nerve to sent me an excerpt from the group rules. They can't stand that we use this forum to organize responses to sexist garbage. They really don't want to hear us harp on sexism...but particularly the sexism we see from allegedly "liberal" or "progressive" men. :eyes:
