Is there a DU member who can't post here and needs a donor star? |
|
I'm about to make a donation and would like to give a star to someone who needs a star to post in the groups. Any ideas?

1. I'm paying a star I got last fall when I was dead broke forward |

I generally don't do it during pledge times. I just keep my eyes peeled for good posters who don't have a star.
Newbies are especially good because when they get that star and discover the search feature and the groups, they'll be motivated to keep it up.
Frequent posters with no star are likely to be in the sad financial shape I was in last fall.
However, if a poster is trollish, antifeminist, or just conservative, s/he can forget it. I still need to spend my money wisely.
