Because of this group, I'm a donor again

I decided earlier this year to stop donating to DU because of its tolerance of misogynist posts (and the people who make them). This group is proving to me that there is hope for the DU, however. I've been reading since it launched, and I'm moved by and proud of what you all are doing. I need to be a part of this. So thank you, enlightened men and women of the DU Feminist Group for creating something I am grateful to be part of.

I am glad you are here with us. There is so much to discuss that can't be discussed in other places. It certainly feels good here. I am finding so much information that is so helpful. As for success, look at all the posts here already. It was a much needed place.

I didn't become a donor again because of this Group, but another that was forming when they added the Groups Forum -- but only a small amount to allow myself entrance to Groups.

However, without any doubt, the reason I stopped was precisely as you say: tolerance of misogynist posts. At the time I was in a position to have made a small monthly contribution; now I no longer am, really.
