I am curious about how many of us are under/over 40.
I am over.

my 40s were tough years. i couldn't WAIT to get out of them! i was just talking about this on a journaling list i moderate. but my kids are 11 & 15, old enough to be independent, periods are gone and along with them is the monthly emotional roller coaster, i feel more creative, i feel more productive, stronger, more focused. it's wonderful! i think it is also reflected in the relationships i am forming now, too. they are healthier, more stable, more fun to be in. as i change, it is reflected in everything around me. so cool.....

I live in a senior building where most of the residents are older than I am, so most of the time I feel like a kid. Everything's relative.

I'm not sure we'll be able to breath the air around here by that point, but in terms of mentality--yeah, that'll be nice.
