Vieira joins Juventus
A good signing for Juventus, but it does leave a bit of a hole in the centre of the park for Arsenal. It seems as if Wenger has taken a look at the big picture and decided that Vieira's best days are behind him. He is only 29, but Wenger usually gets these calls spot on (remember Overmars, Petit, and even Anelka? they haven't exactly flourished since being shown the door at Highbury).

1. Well, that's an interesting twist.
It opens the door for Essien or Diarra of Lyon to come to Arsenal, possibly both.
