| My Bears sure did let me down. |

I couldn't believe how open Smith was the whole game. I still love them though. Born, live, and die a Chicago Bears fan.

| 1. The coaching, IMO, was terrible |
|
The defense played poorly, and the coaches never made an adjustment to get Smith covered.
The play-calling on offense sucked, too. To take a running team and call mostly passing plays while playing a QB who's got less game experience than your rookie QB...not a good idea, and definitely not the way to win a playoff game.

| 2. The Only Thing About That, Nick. . . |

. . .is that i could not have expected them to score 21 points, all on offensive drives (no great set-ups from the defense, and no defensive scores) and still lose. I put this loss on the defense, and the coaches, especially Smith and Rivera. The Professor

You guy's have a good young quarterback, he's only gonna get better. A excellent defense, good running game, they are on the right track. Maybe next year will be yours.:headbang:

| 4. Hopefully, Rex will just improve with more experience |
|
and maybe by next year's playoffs the coaching staff won't be so gung-ho on depending just on his passing to win :eyes:
They'll all have time to settle down, and we might have an even better year if Rex can stay healthy.
