| 1. every year I get a booklet calendar from some store/agent give away |
|
one of the "week at a glance" ones that are about the size of a checkbook. It lives in my glove box and I used it to track my milage.
They are very handy, have pages in the back to track oil changes etc and usually have other cool info in them. The insurance agent or travel agent or who ever buys them around Xmas as customer giveaways.
or you can get one for around $8 usually at the office store. I like the size, it gives me about 5 lines to write where I went for each day.

| 2. I drive so infrequently |
|
One time we took the car in for an oil change. When I went to pick it up, the mechanic and his wife (who runs his front desk) came out to greet me. They said I needed to get out more as I only drove 300 miles since the last oil change several months before. They were really cute about it with patting me on the shoulder and stuff. I'm pretty proud of myself.
Your posting reminded me of that day, so I thought I'd share the anecdote.
