| Homemade laundry soap recipe |
|
I want to try this since I have lots of good quality essential oils I've used for making melt and pour bar soaps.
1 Bar of Zote soap (available at Wal-Mart and Hispanic grocery stores) You can also use Fels Naptha, Ivory, etc. 1 box of Borax 1 box of Arm and Hammer Washing Soda, NOT detergent Optional: Essential Oil, your choice of scent
Cut up soap, throw into food processor and finely grate. Mix dry ingredients by hand then add grated soap, mix again. Drop in essential oil if you choose. Mix again. Keep in a sealed container. Use 1/2 cup per average size load.
